Continental Airlines

Continental Airlines
United and Continental Airlines will launch their flight manuals and paper maps and embrace the iPad. Approximately 11,000 cases will be given to all pilots at United and Continental this month. The airline expects to replace IPAD £ 38 per driver of documents and 16 million pieces of paper per year.

The transition to electronic documentation on the IPAD is a growing trend in the airline industry. This year alone, Alaska Airlines and Delta Airlines pilots have given iPads testing a similar program for its drivers. British Airways iPads also for its cabin crew to help with customer service.
