Bogue Banks is under mandatory evacuation. All occupants are invited to submit.
It's actually pretty quiet in Atlantic Beach today. Last night I had a lot of excitement in the air, when people rushed to make last-minute preparations.
Not that many people, and you. This is a mandatory evacuation in progress on the 14 km walk Bogue Banks, such as Atlantic Beach NC, Pine Knoll Shores Emerald Isle end, but there are a lot of getting up in homes and quiet streets today.
It seems that almost everyone is already disappearing.
A construction crews did not work this morning, what they called a hurricane proof house. It is said that at home 180 20 miles per hour.
We were invited to return after the storm to see if the house is open throughout the storm.
Something we have to remember is that emergency officials advise people to stay on the island. They really want everyone to evacuate the inside, but if people choose to live, they stay at their own risk.
