Research In Motion plans to launch the Blackberry 9900 Bold on August 11 9900

The unit was previously scheduled for release in June, but because of a delay in publication issues RIM BlackBerry PlayBook indefinite and some others had to postpone the launch.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 is by far the thinnest notebook by RIM, and supports the fourth generation or 4G networks, HSPA +, "> HSPA + data connections. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor, this which is almost twice the speed of current processors for mobile devices.

The unit is also equipped with 768 MB of RAM, make it effective. The new phone comes with 8 GB of internal memory for storage with support for 32 GB of expandable memory via SDHC cards. The operating system has also been completely revised. Phones with touch screen based BlackBerry OS 7 Fed, which offers a fast and reliable performance in most tasks.

As mentioned earlier BlackBerry "The Indian mobile" will launch seven new phones for the Indian market, and this was confirmed by Thomas M Varghese, Director of Corporate Communications for RIM in India and SAARC.

Blackberry 9900 price should be more than Rs 30,000.
